Happy New Year's Alembo-philes!
My first Alembic arrived last week, '97 Rogue 5, in a sturdy, rectangular, black plastic hardshell case with the letters PF embossed on each of the 4 chrome clasps and a nearly Rogue~ish shaped black fuzz liner.
The liner gives a little under thumb-pressure but not for long, and is short near the horn and and the 2 lower curves of the body. I haven't had any luck tracking down the case manufacturer.
Perhaps one of you has had to adjust a case liner before? What worked?

Thanks Bill, an interesting link and I'll want to look at my case locks when I get home tonight, but the primary question is:
Has anyone sucessfully modified their case liner?

Once I get my Rogue to seat properly, I might want to do something crazy like make a slot for my tuner or even a secure nook for my truss rod wrench etc..

Secondarily, does anyone know who makes a ribbed black case with PF embossed on the clasps?

Before I replaced the liner, it was different. As for modifying an existing liner, as opposed to replacing it, the one trick of the trade I can offer is that the best way I've found to cut the foam used for liners is with an electric carving knife. You can usually pick up one at a Longs, K-Mart, Target, or similar store for around $20, or for $1 at a garage sale. It works surprising well on the foam.
