The Doobie Bros. played the halftime show at the Orange Bowl with what looked like a Series 1 or 2 holding down the low end.

That would be Skylark on Bass and every time I've seen him he's on an Alembic.

Watched that entire video and not ONE close up of the bass player. As Rodney Dangerfield would say, we get no respect..... LOL That's a shame too Skylark is not only a great player but very animated when he plays.
 
If thats all they showed on TV you have a good eye Rich.

There's something about that classic shape that just jumps out at us.  There was one time for a few seconds that you could spot the logo if you knew what you were looking at.

Edit:  After watching the Youtube link above, I don't think I would have spotted the bass if live TV had looked as grainy as the video.  The shot of the logo must have been when the showed the last half of China Grove that they aired after the talking heads were through with an analysis of the first half.
