Sadly Dewey Martin, drummer of the Buffalo Springfield has passed away today at 68. Fondly I remember the special music that he, Stills, Furay, the late Bruce Palmer and Young gaves us for such a short period of time.

Wow; I was just reading about him and the Springfield recently, as I was reading through some of the history of that genre. In my view, Buffalo Springfield played a very important role in music history. Both Poco and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young were born from Buffalo Springfiled; and For What It's Worth is a part of the soundtrack of the era.
