Is that a JBL D130? in there ? I used to play with a pedal steel player who loved JBL D130's ______ Nice find !!! it's a KEEPER !

Nice!! I have a 61 Concert amp. Those Fender brownface amps are some of the best kept tone secrets out there. The tremlo is to die for. At the moment it's sitting right next to a 97 Matchless DC30 and well able to hold it's own!
Lush, full, total fender tone but plenty of smooth presence. No tube in the rectifier section and does not need one. No reverb, though, that's what the extra brown box is for, if I had it!

My first bass amp (Sunn tube head and 1x15 cab)had a D130 in it. Upgraded it to a K145 as the D130 was pretty woofy.

I'm surprised a bass amp came with a D130 in it. All of the 130 series speaker are full range and are not intended for bass applications. The 140 and 145 series are bass speakers.

In the old days of large PA boxes I used E130's for my lower mid cabinets with E140's for the bass cabinets. The upper mids were handled by E120's and Heil horns for the highs.

I still have two K140 cabinets from my old bass rig. I think they are still one of the better sounding speakers out there.
