I finally tried doing a little video using my laptop. Just a noodle session to see what would happen. The sound ain't great but its a virgin attempt. Ya may find it interesting or not. It does have some pick playing so purists be forewarned.

What, no bow? Love the Zep finish! By the way, when did you learn to play so well left handed?
So, how'd you record? Bass tone is great, but there's a lot of hiss.

Just the laptop mic. Guess I should have flipped the video. Comes out like a mirror.

Actually the sound wasn't too bad - however the video lagged and jumped a bit

Very cool Danno! I like the Zep, that was one of the first songs I ever learned to play on guitar a long long time ago. I never thought to try it on bass.

Thats a hipper tune than my first song on bass. Cold Gin by KISS. My stage persona playing is a lot more peddal-like. My description is I'm the angry guy driving the bus.

LMAO - That is a real good descriptor. . . I get a good visual from it.
I though everyone's first song was Smoke On The Water? It was for me! :-D

Funny you should mention, I'm actually known for my singing, lead and backup. Took a lesson with Melissa Cross, did a brief demo at NAMM and shared a mic with Randy Blythe of Lamb of God.
