I seen them perform in Central Park , New York when I was a kid,( mid-late 60's) they where the loudest Band I ever heard, louder then the Who back then, 5 Marshall stacks on each side of the stage, 5 for Bass 5 for guitar, some people where putting cotton in there ears when I looked around, Parchment Farm Vincebus Eruptum where groundbreaking albums with wild heavy loud guitar, but even when they went wild they always did some bluesy stuff.
It's amazing how our generation has got to experience some of the greatest players in the World and now, one by one we watch them slip away, and a lot of people who never listened will never know what they missed, as for us the musicians, we always will know because we never stopped listening, so let there legacy continue always..R.I.P Dickie
