There are people who sing well enough alone, but when those 2 voices combine, they complete each other and make something magical. Gram & Emmylou had that. I gotta go run some errands; first thing on the stereo will their version of Love Hurts

Their version of Love Hurts is one of my all time favorites. And I've always loved Gram's music. First time I heard Sweetheart of the Rodeo it blew my mind; I was a Byrds fan, and it was totally unexpected. I was a cosmic country rock fan from then on. From time to time I like to spend a few hours studying the history of that music; and for me, Gram is the big influence. His spirit, vision, and heart moved the music into wonderful new directions.
