Gregory!! :-) I'm with you! ROFLMAO

It is very sad but until people can look within themselves and make a serious commitment to supporting 'alternative capitalism' Walmart shall reign supreme..... You will never see me there - unless I am in costume!!!!!!! :-D

I used to drive truck for Payless Cashways (building materials); they had me take pee tests every two years when I got my Commerical Driver License physical. I acquiesced. Then they instituted mandatory random testing. I refused to participate in that, citing the 4th Ammendment of the U.S. Constitution. They told me that if they called me I would have to take the test. I told them that if they called me I would quit rather than take the test. STRANGELY, all of the other drivers (approximately 40) got called for tests over the next two years, EXCEPT FOR ME. Then they went out of business. So much for random. So much for mandatory. A small victory.

OK, I'm new to people of walmart, but do they take all these pictures around Halloween, Mardi Gras or Burning Man?

If you smoke pot, then bump your knee at work, ahhhhhh if you care about your job.....  It is most likely better to limp around for the rest of the day and take a few asprin.  Most companies have a drug policy that enables them to fire offenders with ease.  They don't want you to report an accident, most people dont get punished for on the job injury; we get punished for reporting an injury.  Marijuana card  I could use one of those where do I get one?  I know most of the wally world employes get 0 benefits so who knows the poor guys motives.  I work for Pepsi and if I smoke pot and get hurt they can fire me for violating the drug policy.  Most of the time we just get suspended for a few weeks (first offence) but the last guy was out 90 days!  If you are dirty you have to weigh your options ahead of time. Most of you guys shop at wally mart, (we have created and fed this monster).  Oh yea....If you think capitalism is out of balance check out Food inc. WOW.... we live like kings. Poor animals.  We grow chickens like watermelons!

Allow me to recommend reading Barbara Ehrenreich's Nickle and Dimed and watching the Documentary WalMart: The High Cost Of Low Prices.  As to actually saving money there, I'll just say that when our local grocery raised the price on a 20# bag of dogfood to $18, my wife insisted on buying at MallWart.  She was crowing about the 98? she saved - until I pointed out that the bag was 17.5#.  They're sneaky, as well as evil.

Brian and Peter - you guys are like Siskel and Ebert - two thumbs up.

Both of those DVD's should be required viewing for every US citizen (especially students who are inheriting our mess). King Corn is another good one.
