Rogue Picking Up Radio Signal

Saturday night we were playing at a wedding at a
First Nations (Indian) reserve where they rebroadcast a radio station.My setup was a GK
Fusion 500 through a Berg NV610 w/ monster cables.I thought the problem was the tubes in the
Fusion so I switched to a GK 1001 and still had
the radio signal coming through the speakers.
Unplugging the Rouge stopped the problem so I
switched to my Epic and all was well.In the past
we've had the same problem at this hall w/ guitar
amps and I'm sure that their rebroadcast equipment is running Hot.Any sggestions ? Thanks.

You can send the electronics in here for an RF upgrade. That will solve it.

Thanks Mica; I've never had any problems before and checking at home it seems fine.I've never adjusted the pots in the control cavity;could they be to hot ? Many thanks.cw

It's not likely the gain trimpots will impact the RF problem, but there is no harm in trying it. You will have to be somewhere where the RF is a problem, and it's highly location specific, as you've already discovered.

I did 2 things to minimize this problem:
 
- Changed all my Cables to low-Z ones
- Passed PU wires trough Ferrite Bead in loop
 
At same time I had to lower the Trim Pots to match gain on my Envelope Filter better. Don't know wich action helped, but the problem is really less anoying now (although there are places where I still can't use my Rogue, usually near big radio or TV broadcasting antennas).
 
Seems that Brazil and India have much in common in terms of evolving broadcasting restriction's laws...

When I write low-Z I mean lower than my old Cables. I used to take my old Whirlwind cable to stage, but its conectors where all scratched and hurted. When I bought new (and expensive) ones, this RF problem reduced a lot.
 
My weak link is my pedalboard and its little cheap cables. In certain spots I simply don't take them to stage (in others - particularly bad on RF leaking - I have to leave the Rogue at home and use my very very ordinary Washburn).
 
My problem is that sending eletronics to Mother Ship is not an option since Brazilian Laws would obliged me to pay high importing taxes to get them back (even if I am sending it, and already being taxed when bought it first time, I have to pay all taxes again to free it in mail service office!).  
 
So my choice left is to have a Rolls Roice and just use it on best Tracks.  
 
A little shaming situation, specially when some other bassist came impressed by Alembic's fame and I have to excuse to not pluggin it on or when he listens my 6000,00 Bass and notices it can be useless sometimes...

Belden 9271 124 OHM would be low impedence /lo Z  cable . What is nice about  is that it can be wired Balanced mono or Un balanced Stereo.
