Bob, I don't give a S%&T about MOST BOARDS.... that's why I spend a majority of my time HERE. I've yet to RESTART anything, yet you seem sooooo eager to RESTART your bashing of Alembic brother Hal..... Maybe his hypothesis of disco almost killed funk was too lofty for you, but considering the encapsulated marketing, distribution, and outlets of the day (waaaaay back before the collapse of major labels, birth of the MP3, and internet), Hal may or may not have been on to something..... And while I DO AGREE that the original thread had in fact been hijacked several times over, I thought that I'd be doing a favor in containing a fraction of that spill-over in a separate thread dedicated to THE FUNK.....
