Who needs expensive guitars

This guitar sounds amazing.I was just talking to a pro musician friend of mine who has just come back from working in South Africa and he saw a guy playing proper George Benson Quality guitar on one of these......!!!
So I decided to do a search and here is what I found.

I don't know it sounds a little tinny to me. Should I add I'm not into metal? I also bet you can guess what he uses to oil his necks.
