Alembics on Soul Train
« on: February 11, 2008, 07:08:26 AM »
Soul Train is showing reruns form the 70?s.  So far, I have spotted a number of Alembics:

Michael Cooper of Con Funk Shun playing a Series II guitar
Marvin Craig of LakeSide playing either a Distillate or Persuader
BT Expess bassist playing an alembic

Have I missed any recently?

A Distillate or a Persuader can only appear in an rerun from the 80's. ;-)

I remember seeing an all girl band (I think), and the guitarist was playing a Series I.  I didn't catch the name of the group, but I'm pretty sure the song was Ladies of the Eighties.

A quick search reveals that the name of that band was Eighties Ladies.  One album, Ladies of the '80s, released in 1980.
