Hi Paolo; you're not boring us. We do hope that you are able to get your situation resolved. All of us here in the forum can appreciate your desire to get your Alembic fixed; it's a great guitar. So, no, you are not boring us; your concerns are entirely understandable, and it is certainly reasonable that you have written about them here.
Again, I think that given your particular situation, you might want to call. I know it's the same thing I suggested in my last post, but there's not much more I can do, short of getting in my car and driving across the country. And as much as I would love to visit Northern California, I'm kinda not in a position to do that this afternoon. And I'm not making light of your situation, just trying to bring a smile into the picture. It's a great guitar, and you're going to get it fixed, and you're going to love it. And yes, it's a small shop with lots of orders to fill and work to do, and the emails and posts are too voluminous to keep up with. I'm pretty sure that Mica is probably not able to read all the posts here because it would take too much time out of her day to do so; I know because I read all the posts here. While writing this, I just checked to see if the January Custom of the Month is up yet; nope, not there yet. I know this is something that Mica intended to have up at the first of the month, and I know she was working on it back in the middle of December; but there's only so much that can get accomplished. There's all this stuff that has to be done, and it's hard to keep up with it all.
I've never been to the shop, and I don't know what it's like to be in Mica's shoes. I can only guess. But knowing her to the extent that I do, I can honestly say that she has every intention and desire of helping you get your Alembic fixed and your order filled. She really does care about all of us, and she's always trying to make everybody happy. That's just the way she is. And that's a good thing; a very good thing.
And if you feel the need to post here about this again, please do. I personally want to see your situation resolved and your Series II in good health.
Thanks,
David
