I suppose you're right. The Series is spectacular in everything she does---but there again, so is the P bass!!
I have a small grounding problem with her at the moment, but nothing that a soldering iron or ?30 can't fix.
I just think that I love this bass as much as my Series, hence the reason I'm looking for psychiatric help.
I'm just confused as to why something so simple, can equal something so complicated, and let's be honest, the Series is complicated-try getting the same sound twice from it if you forget the Q settings. No such story with the P bass!
It also makes me wonder about the neck through/bolt on argument. I've got a maple neck on this one, and there are absolutely NO dead spots on her at all, which is nigh on unheard of with maple necks
I think I'll take a couple of tablets now and go and rest--but thanks for your advice. I'll keep the Series as well-Sorry Graeme and Mike.
This may be the reason that Rami has about 8000 basses. It's a mood thing
