I made a cover by Stanley Clarke called Story to Tell on the splendid album If the bass could only talk!  
I played on a standard signature Alembic

As usual, very nice!  
 
I agree, the sound of an Alembic is Stanley, who 'introduced me' to what a bass could do way back when in the early 70's if my memory serves me correctly.
