I remember being on the road in New England in the 90's, and passing McD's along the Maine coast and seeing the signs for them. No idea WHAT'S in them, but evidently not a new development in some markets, anyway.
I've been teaching myself to cook as I'm just so outdone with most restuarants, so many chain joints and so few handmade, individually run places, and it's very hard to find my Texas and Louisiana faves in Tennessee. It was all worth it now that I can make brisket, red beans and rice, and as good a Muffaletta sammich as I could get at the Central Market in the French Quarter!
