This is the part of life, when the truth really hurt's a loving heart.

Mark will always be an absolute Legend to me...
with absolutely -- no if's, and's, or but's about it.

Secondly, because he meant so much to me as a FUNK Bassist, I will dedicate my next FUNK line of basses as a main stay, after him.

This is my way, of keeping his name for a new generation of FUNK players.

That news really hurts... wow it's painful news indeed!

Peace and Love,

Hal-

Too bad the synthe sound of the 80's did not leave room for superb artist such as Mark Adams to continue to blossom

Maybe we need a Topic dedicated to Alembic players that have passed

And the wind cries merry...

Spent the weekend listening to the bass lines of Slave tunes.  Mark was one gifted musician.

Well, as it happens I hadn't heard about Slave and Mark Adams before, but I decided to check them out and found a neat little boxset of the first five albums for a ridiculous price. Groovin' funk songs and bass lines. May he rest in peace and funk up the great gig in the sky!
