I went to the concert when Blue Oyster Cult came to Japan in 1979. I remember that Joe Bouchard Played very exciting bass solo. His bass seemed to be Alembic standard LSB but I can't recall whether the bass was point or omega.

I also went to BOC in Japan !
I believed his bass was Alembic at that time.
But some BecVar's instruments are very close to Alembic.
He made the same under Alembic factory or his own name.

The bass has small omega cut. Please look 0:32 sec. on the video.
And at 1:22, It seems no logo on the head.

Thanks Dave !

Unfortunately some links are lost.
Truss rod cavity looks smaller for single rod.
So I think the bass was made before early 77'.
This 77' maple inlay top bass was inspired Joe's bass, isn't it ?

And Joe's bass looks like it has a channel bridge.
