I know lots of gear gets stolen every day, but, this has the uniqueness of our kind of basses and guitars.

That REALLY sucks. Even though my house is wired, I'm not so naive as to think that I couldn't be wiped-out before the cops had a chance to respond to the alarm. I have such a passion for my music that I'm not sure what I would do if I caught someone in the act (but it likely involves the number 9 and the letters mm). I don't think these punks understand how personally all of us would take such a violation. Why would they: it's not their stuff and they probably never felt passionate about anything in their entire miserable existence.

I'll refrain from using profane language to describe the party who stole this guy's guitar. But I hope they are caught, and that all of the worst stories I've ever heard about prison come true for them.

The people who do this and many other crimes are all heartless, immoralistic bastards.
If they are caugght then they deserve all they get in prison

Passed it around to my playing friends. Can't hurt, and my bass delivered up in Yakima, WA many years ago ended up in San Diego at some point in time, so who knows . . . I only care about the guy getting his guitar back. Other equipment and punishment for the stoopid and`or wicked would just be icing on the cake.

I just posted the ad on my Facebook page and requested that all my Friends repost on their pages. If everybody could do the same, that should really get the word out.
