Bass amp recommendation
« on: October 02, 2011, 06:32:10 PM »
In another thread dannobasso wrote of demoing Phil Jones amps and I think purchased their new product Roadcase BG-800.  Another of PJB's products that intrigued me was their Six Pack model.  Has anyone had experience with this model?    As I am fairly new to playing bass and yet am comfortable with this price point, could anyone provide any guidance relating these two products differences, virtues,  and
utility.  Are there any other choices that I should consider?

While I am not a professional musician, I do appreciate quality of tone, durability, and practicality.  I presently own and plan to keep a Carvin MB-12 which has 200 W,  a 12 driver with a 6.5 midrange and a tweeter.

Thanks,

Scott
