Mastermind application
« on: February 21, 2012, 01:30:31 AM »
Here in the UK there is one of the toughest quiz shows(just to inform all the USA people)
You don't get prize money but the prestige of winning in the final, if you get that far.
SO I have applied to go on the show, the first round is chosen subject to which I have chosen the history of Alembic Inc and their products.
So I am reading the website and the history all the time BUT the history ends at 1981(the long story) which is over thirty years ago! There must be more history since then but where can I find it.
I will e mail Mica to see if she can enlighten me but I may not get past the prelims but it is worth a try

Terry:

Will you be competing against others regarding Alembic history?  If so, unless your competitors are also on this forum, you should be a shoo-in!  Good luck.

Bill, tgo

P.S.  Make sure you spell it for them.  Otherwise you might find yourself being asked about torches, rings, long jumps, Jesse Owens, and Greece!  lol

Let's hope the mastermind team don't ask questions based around Doug Irwin's version of 'the truth relating to wolf'.
Good luck with the application Terry.
