When I was growing up and listening to AM radio (before FM was available) there were always ads announcing an appearance in Charlotte of the Georgia Prophets. Sometimes the band was called Billy Scott and the Georgia Prophets, and sometimes it was called Billy, Barbara, and the Georgia Prophets (Barbara was his wife).
