Art, Jack used to hang out with my old band Jiggle the Handle - he eventually became Larry the Light Guy and then became an excellent sound man!

Not only is he good (he was a pro musician before he was a comedian), he briefly played in the Vancouvers with Jimi Hendrix!

Rusty, I'd love to meet Robbie again to see if he remembers that, I would've been four or five so 1970-71, the horror of his brother getting married in Mississauga ontario with no good hotels...I have a Tommy Chong story too; years ago('80's) I lived in Deep cove BC outside of Vancouver and one day Tommy Chong and a buddy kayaked up to the government dock just as we were about to smoke a fat one...needless to say we invited them to join in...I doubt he ever says no...Tony

Smoking weed with Tommy Chong would be like playing golf with Tiger Woods, he's a pro! LOL!

Actually, smoking weed with Tommy Chong was more like playing golf with Willie Nelson.  (Let's say there was more than just golf happening).

Probably right...still very strange...think about a bunch of teenagers sitting on a government dock about to smoke a fatty(now in Deep Cove that was normal and no one batted an eye; in fact there was still a LOT of acid around there then, I can assure you, heh heh) but it was still pretty odd to have Tommy Chong show up even though he owned a place in west Vancouver at the time...that's a pretty long kayak paddle...so I would warn that he's stronger and fitter than he looks...
