Bass Player for Pope?

One of the candidates mentioned for Pope is Cardinal Peter Turkson of Ghana.  According to a story on NPR, he plays bass guitar.

This pretty much insures that he won't be elected Pope.

Oh, the bad decisions we make in our youth. If I would have known that, I would have taken up the trumpet so I could 'Herald into Heaven' the 2 or 3 guitar players who made it that far!

I took up the Trumpet at the age of 10 , and the Bass at  15 .( still play both ) I wonder how long the line is for  Pope Prospects wanting the gig ? I don't  care for long lines personally ____. I wonder if there is an online application form ?    As far as ulterior motives go just think of the swell custom Alembic Bass that Cardinal Peter Turkson could order if he becomes Pope !  I hope he makes it!  An Alembic Bass  fit for the Pope ______ must make COTM !______One would think?
