The
latest COTM
; a very deserving instrument! I really like the grain on this one! And I would like to add that Mica has once again produced a really nice feature! Congrats Pierre!

Congratulations on being the COTM for July. I really like the inlays. I also own a Brown Bass and have been very happy with it.

I love the July COTM. Only Alembic has the touch to produce such a lovely instrument.
What tone does Birch contribute?
How does an oil finish hold up?

For me the oil finish has held up fine. Alembic uses a polymerized oil so it doesn't require periodic oiling. All I do is give it an occasional waxing. There is a
finish care
section in the FAQ that discusses it.

Lovely bass, very retro.
I noticed that it has two extra mini toggle switches, I know two will be Q's, one will be for LED's..what the last one for near the output..anyone know as it wasn't listed in the specs?

I'm guessing it'll be a stereo/mono switch same as the anniversary.

Graeme is correct the switch is for stereo/mono operation. The Brown Bass comes standard with Anniversary electronics.
