As promised, here's pics of the guitar I've been putting together:  Modulus Blackknife neck, Warmoth Chambered rear-loaded body, flame Koa over African Black Korina, Alembic pickups with added Q.  The only things left are a new nut and to have it plekked.  Bill, tgo

Hi Bill looks good. Im building a strat with alembic pickups and electronics. Are those blackknife necks available new or is this a used one?
The sound of Alembic is medicine for the soul!

Jazzy:

Only used.  Gould went out of business and even sold off his molds for next to nothing.  I picked up the neck 8-10 years ago figuring I'd use it someday.  The guitar appears to be VERY resonant.  I'll be checking it out in a jam for the first time this afternoon with Wolf (Sonicus) and some others.

Very cool Bill!

I'm curious what year the neck is if you know...
You've got some nice tone woods to complement the graphite.

Like I said in the other thread, I think you'll dig the graphite/activator combo... It plays with the octave and envelope filter really well..

Cool! I had a Blackknife for a while and liked everything about it except that the whammy bar stuck up too much, so I sold it. It was a very warm sounding guitar.

I too can attest to the graphite alembic combo being exceptional. Play it in good health.
