Nice reference Peter, and for once, one of these talks about the woods in an acoustic guitar build, and solid guitar builds.

I had to laugh, that they listed Mesquite, surely the most aggravating, impossible to mill wood God Almighty ever made. Being from Texas, it's often considered a great nuisance in cattle country, and no wonder it's cut down for BBQ, although I way prefer to use pecan or hickory or cherry: Mesquite can get quite sharp-tasting in long-smoke-time cooks.

But then again, if your mesquite guitar build finally gets on your last nerve, you can always grill it !

I've always been of the opinion that mesquite is best when restricted to grilling. It also needs to be used with stronger flavored meats like beef and lamb.

Seems like I've asked this before, but what is 'wormwood'? But more importantly, red-bean wood sounds best when paired with rice, preferably with cornbread binding.

in some circumstances __ delayed Sub Harmonic Ghost Tones could be creative, Just like a comet suddenly appearing in the sky in the middle of a great space jam !

Joey , I think that your setup advice is the best & stellar as always ;__ red-bean wood sounds best when paired with rice, preferably with cornbread binding.

We have wormwood growing at home:

Haven't tried harvesting the thujone from it. That is the 'magic stuff' in true absinthe.

It smell is delicious. It also is VERY prolific; last year we failed to deadhead it and it is popping up everywhere (much to our neighbors dismay).
