Truss rods are no big deal, most people just overdo it when adjusting it or try to fix the wrong problem with the trussrod...I used to make trussrods for a friend that were a double round rod and tubing all brazed together; it fit in a flat channel and worked really well...the best part was if the rod ever broke or stripped out you could yard it out and put a new rod in without even taking the strings off...Tony
