Sounds great! I like the top end on the sound of the bass.

Is that a new amp for you?

I went to my local PMT this morning to try out some aguilar cabs. I tried the DB 412 and DB410 cabs individually with DB751,TH500 & heads TH350. The guy set all the amps tones flat and I found I could not get a clean sound at all because there breakup of the sound giving a crunchy edge. Even at low volumes it is there and especially noticeable on the higher notes.  Any setting I had the Aguilar gear to I was getting this breakup. I'm actually only curious about the cabs so I plan to take my own head down there this week and try out them with a known rig I know is clean so at least I can hear what the cabs sound like. I always thought aguilar was clean hifi gear.
In guitar speak usually I find what is described as clean is intact edgy or something with a little crunch to it, so I wonder if this is what bass players also describe as clean?
The sound of Alembic is medicine for the soul!

I haven't tried Aguilar gear (although I did pick up an SL112 cab once in a shop - it is very lightweight)but looking at the spec of the amps,I wonder if it is anything to do with the Drive control.  Maybe what they thought was 'flat' at 12 o'clock is actually midway?
I use a Genz Benz Streamliner 900 now but still have an EBS HD 350  and that Drive control goes from 0 to 10 so straight up at 12 o'clock is actually half-way.
Just a thought.
