I just got tickets for my son & I to see Snarky Puppy at Royce Hall at UCLA on September 24. My son has seen them twice but this will be my 1st time. I learned about Snarky Puppy here in the Club, can't remember who posted about them, but thank you! I love these guys!

I saw them on their first UK tour here a couple of years ago. Incredible sounding band of excellent musicians and so tight.

I think you will like them.

I also first heard of them here and love what they do.

You will definitely enjoy them. Such a cool band. Seen them here in Nashville 2x.

Second time it was at a crappy place called the Mercy Lounge. Only the first three rows of folks standing in front could see anything - I'm 5' 8 Sounded great though. Third time through - skipped it. I sure hope that they play somewhere else next time. Also, 21+ at the place and the kids did not get to go.

And BTW - Buy as many of their CD's at the venue that you can. They make more $$ that way. I've actually talked to a couple of them - really nice guys. The whole band signed a t-shirt for my daughter because she was too young for the venue. I might post up a photo of that - one of her favorite shirts!

We also saw Funky Knuckles the first time here - really cool band from Dallas. Have seen them 2x now. Check them out on Spotify. They are on Michael Leagues record label.

My son has the same taste in music as I do. I turned him on to Dream Theater & Snarky Puppy, & he loves them both now! He met Michael League at his 1st SP show & got him to autograph a copy of Bass Player magazine that he was on the cover for me.

I saw them here in Raleigh at the Pour House. It was a great show. So much so that even my wife remarked how she liked what they played. Have fun, not that I feel you won't.
