We?re extremely sorry to report that today Sir George Martin has passed
away at the age of 90?s. Our deepest condolences to his family. Your
body may not be between us, but your legacy we?ll be forever in our
hearts. Thanks for your passion and dedication ?When you extend life
span, that's really something. That's hard to do?. Sir George Martin

He gambled and took a huge risk when he signed an unknown group of semi-polished musicians that many others passed on.
 
He then patiently worked with them to craft many unforgettable compositions, including 23 #1 hits.
 
As such, he should be appreciated and revered as much for his foresight, vision and tenacity as for his formidable abilities as a composer, arranger and producer.
 
The 5th Beatle indeed!
