D'oh! Def. not a '78-vintage instrument. Not a clue where I got that. The serial # 85 S3715, which makes it vintage 1985. It has a Bubinga top, a mahogany body, and a 3-piece quarter-sawn maple neck. Detailed pics of headstock repair to come Saturday. My seller said the headstock was repaired in about 1999. I bought it in 2003, polished all the brass, put new Alembic strings on it. Consequently the repair is now about 7 years old and shows not a sign of motion.
