It's been a while since I mentioned this, but I'm still looking for a six string Series bass.

Dave,

Depending on how serious you are, you might want to call Bass Northwest and Bass Central (and others) and let them know you're in the market.

I'm certain that you know this already, but 6-string Series basses are rare.  Really rare.  And they almost never come up for sale.

I fully intend to have mine pried from my cold, dead fingers, at which point it will go to my children.

Thanks Bradley; I hadn't thought about calling any dealers.  I did check through all the sites just to see if anything was listed.  And yes, I've been watching for one for quite a while now and haven't seen anything yet.

It's not a series but the idea of series electronics in this body...oohhhh. I know it's a thickness issue, or is it... but I can dream.

The electronics are Essence without a Q-switch. This would be a downgrade on a Europa.

When I read that I can hear Hall and Oates singing the Dan Hartman tune I can dream about you !!
