Seeking A Short Scale
« on: April 06, 2008, 06:56:34 AM »
Hi all, long-time lurker, first-time poster.

Been playing a long scale Alembic-customized Persuader/Exploiter for close to 20 years and practically as many albums, and would now like to switch to an Alembic for live gigs (I've had a parallel near 20 year run on the same Ric for all live stuff).  As you can infer, I'm not a flipper or even much of a gear-head beyond Alembic and Ric - I know what I like in my wardrobe and all that.

I'm looking for a short scale in an affordable price range - ie, a new SC ain't in the cards, but I've seen some nice super-stripped-down short scales over the years.  I'm flexible regarding body shape, electronics, etc, so price is key.

Anyone looking to move their short scale or know of any on the market?  Thanks!

I've got nothing to offer other than a hearty welcome.

Short scale basses do pop up here given enough time- if you have the luxury of waiting I'm sure you'll find one here.
