I am trying to locate an Alembic series 1-2 or Mark King Signature 5 string with the balance K body and comfort string spacing..
What do you have?

That's kind of an interesting question; how may Balance K's have been made with classic tapers and how many with comfort tapers.

Olie; the one you cited is marked sold; but it was indeed a nice price for a new bass!
I have to admit I'm having a hard time telling which have comfort necks and which have taper. Of the ten 5-strings on that page, how many of each are there?

Most are now Comfort tapers directly from Alembic unless specially ordered with the narrow spacing....
I don't think any of those bass central basses are available..They keep there sold stock up on the site..
Anything out there guys?

Try calling Beaver at Bass central anyway. He usually has a couple of basses 'in progress' at pretty reasonable rates. that's how I got my balance K.

Great looking bass Jon. Very similar to my Balance K with the exception of the heart omega on yours. Congrats.
