A great chair for alembic players

Hey Alembicans!

I was looking at a chair that fits the quality of our Alembics... Check out the link if you like to lounge like I do...

When it comes to listening to music, I like to sit down in my father's hand-me-down Eames and Ottoman lounge chair my father gave me years ago.

Well, I been listening to music for years in that old chair, but now it is time for an upgrade...
I just thought I would share this cool chair...

The Kenesis Lounge chair is on my 2009 list to get... for some cool late nights when I can't sleep but got the ears for recordings.

It's a matter of taste and values. Alembics are $12,000 plus out the gate for a series 1.

When it comes to playing music, Alembic is second to none for me. If I am not playing, and if I had a choice to sitting down and enjoying great music, and if it's not in my car, I would prefer a great chair.

Hey, you only live once my man... and owning an Alembic was one of those dreams that came true. I put on a deaf ear to those who also said: Alembics are too expensive.

I don't believe anything is too good for me, if I find a desire for it, and willing to work for it. If by the time I have the money, and still want it, the money is worthless than the object.

This is what makes my life fulfilling. In any case, it don't cost nothing to look in the window...

Very organic looking chair.  I'll bet it's VERY comfortable, though, personally, I prefer chairs without armrests or stools when I play sitting down.  I find the armrests get in the way.  I just ordered one of these.

Not at all, this chair was designed for kicking back and listening to someone else definition of sound, or your own... The listening chair.

A bar stool? Far from it... But I know what you mean. Looks like Alembic Quality to me, for it is eye candy...you must agree.

Imagine an Alembic guitar in the room... A thing of beauty to behold.

I cannot think of a more iconic chair design than the Charles Rennie Macintosh high back chair....perhaps not the most comfortable to use on a practical level but it is an incredible, timeless piece.

I would call it the Alembic series one of the chair world!

John.

You got to be kidding... right.

Charles Rennie Macintosh high back chairs, are more like the playstation's rock star guitars league, if you asked me...

But it's still a chair... so you still pass in knowing the differences...

Check out Ekornes Stressless recliners.  They are too damn comfortable.  Buy a new Alembic with the extra $.

Aeron?  At least you won't get sweaty (and I don't mean hands) while you're playing.

You do need to watch those points on the armrest. They could put quite the gouge on the back
