If you are based in the UK as it appears n your profile, you will find it pretty challenging to get hold of a Series I, MK or SC around that price but a distillate is possible though we don't see many up for sale in the UK. Hopefully something will turn up for you. If you get one outside the EU, you will get hammered by HMRC for import duty and Vat.( I speak from personal experience on that score).
if you are not so hooked up on getting a MK or SC shape, then this one here looks a good alternative. It's a 5 string Orion with the same signature electronics package you get on the MK and SC bass although this is set neck rather than neck through so you will get some differences tonally. If I wasn't looking for a series bass myself I would have snapped this up already as for the UK thats a respectable price, in my opinion.
I'm sure like most places if you have cash you can haggle.
