I had one of those tobacco Gibsons too. Nice bass, but something wasn't right about the feel. Also, the tone was not quite what I was expecting based on what my Les Paul and Fenderbird sound like. Could have been as simple as changing out the pots, but for whatever reason, I didn't want to deal with it. I still kind of regret selling it. I also picked up an Epiphone last summer off ebay. As soon as I felt the chunky neck, I knew it had to go, and the tone was very lackluster. Some day I'll get my hands on a nice Exploiter!
