1) that's not an Orion, it's an Epic

I was going to suggest it was an Epic, but given the small picture and the fact that any American Tourister Gorilla with a Dremel tool can make any Alembic shape he wants, I let it pass. :-)
 
Maybe it was stolen and he wanted to hide its origins?

...Modified for studio recording... What were they thinking? I might as well modify my car for driving by removing one of the wheels! Or modify my chopsticks for eating by adding a kickstand to them. Why not modify my boat by adding a large hole in the bottom? So, so sad! That Epic should recieve its last rights and then be buried.
