Wow ...Brother Michael ... that.s something for your tooth no?? VERY nice indeed! I DO like the reversed Purple heart/maple combination and that old body-thickness feel.

Paul - You are right.  That is how I like them.  BUT, that body is just too big for me.  I have tried that body style before, and am just unhappy with it.  If it were a small standard, it would be mine.  Especially with purpleheart as the main neck wood!  Also notice that the instrument is a 1977.  It is one of the first ones that were available with 2 truss rods, but with no cover fitted.  Cool.  As far as the early body thickness goes, I love that too.  That is just something I got sooo used to over the years.  You guys know what I like!

Michael, It is indeed quite nice. Is the top wood Walnut? Also, it appeares to have strap pins on each side of the Omega. Mine is like that, but, you don't see that too often. Do you have any idea of the price? I love the variation in the grain at the neck pick-up.

I was wondering what the price was on that one too.  I am not really interested, but curious.  Nope.  No idea.  Just found it searching on the web.

Seems like in very good conditionen. But is this long or medium scale? Also it could be Purple heart  for the body wood? I like the Omega cut!

The neck wood combination is sweet.  What an elegant instrument...

Oops.  Too big.  I'll try later.

It is a large bodied Alembic with a point, and a 2 truss rod model.  Looks to be pretty decent too!
