I'm thinking of getting a 5 string Surine Bass - Espirit Series X or Quest Series II both setup with Bartolini pickups and was hoping someone in our forum may be able to give me good consul...how do these Surine basses compare to Alembics (Series I, II, Spopiler or Rogue electronics) both in quality of craftsmanship and in tone variation?
Also, any knowldge of how the Surine basses hold up in resale value would be great if someone has access to a blue book.
