Help need on a tough decision...

No problem Dave.

The picture that most accurately represents the color to me is the first pic in my last post.  Keep in mind though that color isn't standardized on the web by a long shot and when you figure in different monitors and video cards all bets are off.

But at least on my computer the first pic from my last post is the most accurate representation of the color.  (As opposed to the Chee-tos bass look that exists in the first post first pic on this thread.  Don't get me wrong, I like me some Chee-tos but I'ld rather not have a bass that looks like 'em)

Yes, I figured that was probably the best shot.
But now you've probably got somebody thinking
Chee-tos Burst Quilted Maple for their next custom order!

you're just teasing us now. That's a nice looking example. This cash is just burning a hold in my pocket

Good luck, Andy.

Thanks all.  I just wanted to give everyone who may be interested an update.

I'm waiting to see what the September Alembic price special is going to be so that I can then get a couple of price quotes for ordering a new Alembic.  I may put the bass up for sale and then wait to put the order in depending on what the monthly special turns out to be but I want to see what the special is going to be first and get a couple of quotes before mine goes up for sale.

Hopefully Alembic will post what this months special is soon and I don't imagine that getting a couple of custom quotes will take more than a day or so.
