OHSC Bass is absolutely in mint condition. I would say this is a new condition. It has to be! I barely played this bass! I'd say this bass has less than 6 hours of playing time. No gig, only played in my bedroom. No scratches or dings. OHSC has few imperfections, from initial shipping to my house. Some scratches and a small tear of outer covering. Neck is of course straight and fret has 'sign' of playing, but no actual wear. One of the spare backplate is autographed by 'The Man" himself. I went to see his show in Atlanta last year and got his autograph after waiting outside after the show for 3 hours.
Can you see him holding the plate? I believe if you buy exact spec'ed model now, it'll cost you well over $8000. Taking reasonable offers. I may consider trade + cash offers, but only with 4 string Alembic basses. I have excellent ebay feedback. Also, I live in Nashville TN area, willing to drive and meet/deliver this bass within 6 hours driving distance to save money on shipping and reduce chance of getting it damaged. Thanks for looking.
