Hmm, I have seen the occasional one go by, though maybe not that recently. If I were local to the seller and could check it out, I might go take a look. Other than that, I wonder what could typically go wrong in the guts of one of these things and what repair cost might be. Any repair at the factory tends to be kind of expensive, but if there are internal fuses that might have popped, that would certainly be an easy fix.
Also, there is reference to power supplies with these things. Don't they just take a regular computer-style three prong cord, or is there some sort of external transformer?
