May 2003 Seismic Bass
« on: March 02, 2006, 08:42:16 PM »
All,

I am thinking about selling the May 2003 Custom (Seismic Bass). I am the original owner and it is in as new condition.

As you know, you can visit Alembic's custom archive link and get all the details.

Feel free to email me at: tbishop@1scom.net

Mark,

I purchased this bass as a collector piece only.  It has been stored in it's case from day one.  I'd bet I've had it out about 5 times just to show it.

Why am I selling?  If it sells, I may very well regret it (won't be the first time), however, I own about 20 high-end basses, so, at this time I have decided to part with a few.

This bass is drop-dead gorgeous.  Nominated as the May 2003 Custom it will always be a part of Alembic's Custom Archive history.

Joe,

Yes, it is awesome and a 1-of-a-kind bass.  It has'nt sold yet though!  This bass will remain in it's case as new until that day.  So, don't ever say never about anything!

Hello-

I am interested in this bass... two questions: is it a 35 or 34 scale?  Also, how does it balance it your lap and strapped on - any neck dive?  I would be stringing it up for a higher E to C tuning.  Finally, what is your asking price?

Thanks,

Andy

All,

Any serious buyers out there want a piece of Alembic's Custom history?  I have received many email on this bass, however, no serious buyers.

Here is Alembic's Custom Archive Link to this bass: http://www.alembic.com/info/fc_seismic.html
