Very Nice Bass, Too bad the price just jumped from starting $2000.00 to $3995.00 in a matter of 10 hours without anyine bidding on it. As much as I love the Bass and have been looking for one for the past 5 years. It is priced out of my range. Sorry to see you have to sell it.Thanks for putting it up for sale.

That price is BS!

I've been offered brand new (2005/2006) SC deluxes, with Coco Bolo and side LEDS for not much more than $4000.

They're out there if you're prepared to look!

In the UK you'd be looking at around ?4000 UK, that's around $8000 US, for an SC Deluxe with the goodies.....$3995 (about ?1600 UK)over here would be the bargain of the century. I was fairly recently quoted ?3600 UK for a 5 string Essence with only a couple of options...

Hey all. I know the price jumped up from 2000 to 3995, and I am sorry for that. However, I was led to believe that the bass I have was a standard and it turns out that it is a deluxe. After discussing the bass for a long time with Alembic they suggested that I put it on Ebay with a reserve no less than $4000. I really dislike the whole cloak-and-dagger aspect of selling, so i listed it at $3995. I hope that those interested will ask me any and all questions. Good luck.
