Lovely bass-

I like the pickup selector out there on the lower horn. If I had the cash and needed a 4 string I'd be sorely tempted.

Good luck.

Very nice, pardon my ignorance, she appears very similar to the Spoiler. Would you be able to comment on the differences?

Electronics - Spoiler has Volume, filter, Q switch and pick up selector
Body shape - obvious, take a look in the showcase section or look at my profile.
Pegheadshape - Spoiler has the Cone shape
Neck laminates - Spoiler has 3 piece maple neck

My Spoiler examples are for the Standard Spoiler specs. There are Spoilers with other body shapes etc. as custom options, but that's possible for almost all models.

The Distillate electronics are  the same as the modern day Europa electronics with the one difference being a pan knob on the Europa has replaced the pickup selector switch.

Did it sell?
Just signed up....trying to figure out the value of my distillate.
Considering they were list 2200 new, I was hoping they had gone up in value.
Actual sale price at local store was 1700 + tax= $1948.
That was A LOT of money in 1983, when I got mine.
In today's dollars, that should = about 5 X that.

So, it seems, that they haven't kept up with inflation
I love the curly maple!
Mine's a darker color...

Yes, it sold for $1900.
That's a little below average.
