Sweet!  That guitar is just begging for some Maple knobs though . . .

Oh mannnnn...want it!  I'm loving the headstock in the N & A section.

Mica, is that the stock headstock veneer?  I'm stoked about that stock headstock if it is stock.

Sensor readings Mr Stock?  It's a form of Alembic, but not as we know it...Captain

As I enter my THIRD anniversary  of waiting for my custom further I am not as psyched as the rest of you re the above.  As they were working on the effects blend control, did they think to make it standard on the models still in the assembly line?  Makes sense to me.  Not against progress but tough to generate excitement when there is a thought swirling in my head that it will take over a third of a decade to get my guitar, IF I AM LUCKY!

Tom:

I can well understand your feelings as I have walked in your shoes - my custom Further took over 2 1/2 years.   I can assure you that once it arrives, the wait is soon forgotten and the fun starts.  As for the blend control, you might try giving Mica or Susan a call.  I wouldn't be surprised if they can add it, if possible.  It sounds like a cool idea, though not one I'd need.  One of the mods on my Further was to eliminate the effects loop as I wouldn't be using it.  I turn my guitar volume to 10 and run a volume pedal last in my effects chain.  This way my pedals always see essentially the same signal, thus accomplishing the same result as the onboard effects loop (sans blend) without the necessity of two cords.  It also allows me to use a wireless when I want to.  Good luck with your guitar.

Bill, tgo

I wonder if you can get a Floyd Rose (or something similar) option installed.

Since they install those on California Specials, I would imagine they could do that on this guitar as well.

We'll install a tremolo. These days we'd use a graphite nut and locking tuners. We have high hopes for the Skyway trem that we will be installing on a custom build soon.
