This bass was offered as collateral for medical bills due to an auto accident with an uninsured driver. Short story...it must be sold. It was bought brand new 9/15/2005 from GGuitars. It was opened and inspected and put away. Literally opened rarely to admire by a non 5 string bass player. I have a Skylark Guitar and do not understand 5 string basses. However, I certainly understand Alembic quality. If this was a 4 string, I would consider buying it myself to replace my Modulus bass which resides in the home music studio.
