1975 Series I For Sale

You know what? This is a really bad idea.

I'm sorry for subjecting you guys to this-my life's been a little confusing right now, and I'm letting it rub off on my gear.

Dave, I'd appreciate it if you could delete this or something.

Chris,
Somewhat on-topic: would you consider selling the gig bag seperately, and if so, how much?

Shawn,
I'd like to keep the gig bag with the bass, since it's the only form of protection I have for it right now. I don't want to ship the bass naked, wrapped in bubble wrap, since the potential for finish damage from the heat is exceptionally high during this part of the year-I don't want the next owner to receive the bass with a bunch of bubble wrap melted into the finish.

Understood; I'm having a hell of a time finding a reasonably-priced case that will fit the Big 6 and figured I'd ask. My bass is 50 long and 17 wide at the lower bout. Think the 'long' Reunion Blues case will fit?
And just as importantly, what did you find?

Shawn,
I have the long case and it fits the 4-string just fine, lengthwise, but the lower bout is only 15, and it's a fairly tight squeeze, so it's hard to say how an extra inch on each side would fit.

I've heard good things about these bags, and it sounds like they could easily make you a custom:

As for what I found, it's an F-bass, an unusual neckthrough 6-string fretless, to be exact.
